Explore Sequencing, Structure, and Book Creation with Laurie Klein and Kate Jordahl

Sundays: October 1 and 15, 2023

1 PM to 4 PM Eastern/10 AM to 1 PM Pacific

Containers for your photographs can help you define your story and develop deeper meaning. Join Laurie Klein and Kate Jordahl as they explore the accordion book, a seemingly simple but expansive book form that will hold your images and your stories. Dive into sequencing and storytelling with feedback during class and community discussion. Refine the flow of your images from a single moment to a finished book.

This will be a hands-on class and at the end of class, you will have a completed accordion book.

Through this class, you will learn from Laurie and Kate’s experiences in sequencing, book development, and image selection. From their examples and insights, you will plan and develop your own book. Topics such as material selection, layout options, image selection, and expressive sequencing will be explored.

Could be a holiday gift for you or your loved one. Explore this flexible book format.

Enrollees will get instructions on sending images for review and first meeting sharing as well as a supply list.

Sessions will be recorded for those who miss a class.
